I went to this cool early music concert by the Newberry Consort (What a Difference a Day Makes: Venetian Music for Fat Tuesday and Ash Wednesday) when I was in Chicago and was so utterly excited by the bathroom I had to go back upstairs to get my camera and take these photos:
What fun! I get energy from such things! A virtual visual feast for the eyes she said in ecsatatic redundancy! Oh, yes, and upstairs was none too shabby neither (St. Clement Church):
All in all, an evening well spent - my eyes and ears and energy were filled and inspired. Thanks, MLA!

I don't even know if I could pee in such a bathroom! I'd be so distracted and entranced by the visuals..., it might just stop all other functions. Or else...encourage them? Quite the contrast with the church dome!
ReplyDeleteLuckily the stalls were not quite so visually stimulating...so there was no problem there...tee hee!
ReplyDeleteWell the Church was ok, but the bathroom was mesmerizing!
